As a business we're proud to support The Hospice in the Weald, it's a charity close to our hearts. So when they asked if we'd like to take part in their £50 summer challenge, we gladly accepted!
The brief was to grow their £50 as much as we could over the summer months. We've risen to the challenge by setting a trail for children that takes you around the vines and across part of the Squerryes Estate, with a series of questions to answer as you go. To complete the challenge you need to solve a puzzle then return to claim your lollypop prize.
Whilst visiting, why not pre-book a picnic from The Estate Deli or stop for lunch in The Garden Cafe? Our new summer specials include Kent strawberry smoothies, fresh orange juice, iced coffee, smoked salmon bagel, Serrano ham & melon, mouth-watering salads and indulgent brownie. We also have our popular pizza and paninis, pastries, cakes and savoury snacks on the menu, plus teas, coffees, Squerryes and Westerham Brewery beers.
The trail will run on Wednesday to Sunday from Wednesday 19th July to Friday 3rd September, between 10am-3pm. There is a suggested donation of £2 per child with all proceeds going to The Hospice in the Weald. Visitors can collect a trail sheet from The Garden Cafe. Please arrive by 2.30pm to start the trail.
