Following the news of Her Majesty The Queen’s passing

“Following the news of Her Majesty The Queen’s passing, I feel considerable loss and sadness, as such a solid foundation in my life has been taken away, while also experiencing gratitude for being part of a great era and 70 years of history. At these times, it is difficult to compute what a significant moment this is for us, not only as a nation, but on a wider global stage.

As a team, we at Squerryes are determined to both mourn over the next 10 days, and serve our community in celebrating and remembering the legacy of our Queen.

With this in mind, we will be closing on Wednesday 14th September, to give all at Squerryes a chance to go to London, pay their respects, and be of comfort to one another.

We are going to be open as normal this weekend, and from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th September, so that you, our guests, are able to gather with friends and family to give thanks for Elizabeth II’s truly remarkable life and extraordinary reign”
